KEES KLOMP (1968) is professor of applied science at the Rotterdam University of Applied Science where he researches and develops an existential approach to economics. He is also co-founder of Thrive Institute: an organisation that aims to reinvent economics & society. SHINTA OOSTERWAAL (1980) is trained as an economist. As an international advisor for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she worked on equitable economic development in developing countries. Currently, she is co-author of three books and works as a lecturer, researcher, and advisor to companies on the emergence of a new economy.
