Dick Swaab ontvangt ECNP Media Award
Op zaterdag 18 oktober heeft Dick Swaab op het congres van de European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) in Berlijn de Media Award uitgereikt gekregen voor zijn boek Wij zijn ons brein.
Het College heeft Wij zijn ons brein verkozen omdat het boek de ingewikkelde werking van het brein toegankelijk maakt voor een breed lezerspubliek.
Volgens de ECNP behandelt het boek op heldere wijze de complexe wetenschappelijke inhoud, en weet Swaab op levendige en originele wijze het brede spectrum van de breinwetenschap tot een coherent en inzichtelijk geheel te maken.
